From AI to Insurance: 5 Key Takeaways from the Enumerate Virtual Summit

The first-ever Enumerate Virtual Summit brought together industry professionals, software experts, and community association management leaders for an array of sessions full of insights, product updates, and real-world strategies. From AI innovations to insurance best practices, here are the five key takeaways shaping the future of community management.

1. Putting Customers at the Center

Enumerate CEO, Vijay Ramnathan, kicked off the Summit by reinforcing a core belief: everything starts and ends with the customer. Whether it’s product innovation, operations, or support, the goal is clear: make it easy for associations to grow with Enumerate.

  • Easy to Grow Communities – New Enumerate customers are now going live in just 50 days, thanks to AI tools like Onboard Assist that simplify and accelerate data migration.
  • Easy to Use – Sophisticated products that support growth without overwhelming teams, including new features like enhanced budget tools, simplified homeowner payment flows, and deeper bank integrations.
  • Easy to Work With – With over 1,000 inquiries resolved monthly, newly launched Enumerate Assist and Enumerate University provide ongoing training and support right when it’s needed.

2. AI Is Here to Stay—And It’s Practical

AI isn’t a buzzword at Enumerate, it’s a working solution. Vijay introduced two powerful tools already making a measurable impact.

Enumerate Assist is a new AI-powered resource embedded directly into the platform. The tool delivers quick answers, step-by-step troubleshooting, and 24/7 access to help—all directly within Enumerate Central. Together, this innovation ensures customers not only adopt Enumerate faster, but also get continuous value long after onboarding.

Onboard Assist is an internal AI solution that makes data migration faster and more reliable than ever. What once took weeks can now be accomplished in days (or even minutes)—revolutionizing one of the toughest challenges in software adoption.

Guest speaker Adam Balkcom, CEO of CAM Leadership Institute, echoed this theme, reminding attendees that AI is simply software designed to make processes easier. What once required repeated approvals or manual tasks can now be automated seamlessly. AI doesn’t need to be intimidating; it’s here to save managers and boards valuable time.

3. Insurance Challenges Demand Smarter Strategies

Insurance premiums now eat up nearly one-third of annual operating budgets for community associations, and many associations are feeling the strain. Steve Mason, past President of the Community Association of South Florida, didn’t sugarcoat it: insurance carriers are leveraging “deny, delay, defend” tactics to avoid payouts. They are collecting premiums but delaying or denying claims whenever possible.

Mason stressed the importance of policies like Windstorm Insurance and Ordinance & Law endorsements, which ensure coverage for damages from high winds and unexpected expenses after a loss. With claims becoming harder to settle, associations need to be proactive in securing comprehensive coverage.

4. Product Innovation That Drives Value

Product innovation isn’t just about features—it’s about driving user success. Uri Shatten, Manager of Training and Enablement at Enumerate, highlighted how the company is putting this philosophy into action with two major updates designed to make the platform easier to learn, adopt, and use every day.

One of the biggest announcements was the launch of Enumerate University, a comprehensive training hub built to empower users at every level. The platform will offer 100+ interactive learning modules covering everything from hot-topic webinars to deep-dive tutorials on the latest features. Users can follow role-based learning pathways tailored to their needs—whether they’re a homeowner wanting to understand the basics, a board member focused on governance and compliance, or a community manager looking to streamline operations.

5. A Community of Shared Learning

While the main sessions delivered strategic insights, it was the breakout sessions that created space for real-time learning, collaboration, and actionable takeaways. Enumerate leaders guided discussions that gave attendees the space to see live demos, ask the experts questions directly, and share best practices with each other.

These smaller, interactive sessions gave attendees a chance to dive deeper into solutions in action, including:

  • A demo of Enumerate Central + Engage
  • How to optimize Engage features for resident engagement
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) best practices

Enumerate continues to evolve with its customers, ensuring the platform not only meets today’s needs but anticipates tomorrow’s.

From smarter onboarding and training to real AI solutions and insurance insights, the Summit showed how Enumerate is helping communities simplify management and plan for the future.
